The Capture One team should learn a lot from Adobe's masking solution to speed up workflow. AND of course Capture One is excellent - even if it's masking tools are old school. I had a similar experience with Fuji's own RAW processing tool. I do not use NX Studio, which consistently gets 1 out of 10 for me. I am sorry but PL6 is in last place of the tools I have bought and use - it gets 3 out of 10 from my use - it is far too slow to use. LRC/PS have far far superior AI based masking tools than PL6, which seems to be very much old school and therefore slow.Ĭapture One's skin tone tools are the best of any I have used, which is why Capture One remains my go to for portraits. I have used Deep Prime XD - but prefer to use DeNoise AI for noise reduction. With DxO PureRAW 3 comes powerful new features. It also adds some basic punch to all images.ĪCR/LRC's processing of Z9 Raw files is lousy compared to the results I get from PR2. In 2022, DxO PureRAW 2 brought various upgrades, delivering a faster, more efficient workflow.
However, when processing Nikon Z9 Lossless RAW files I use DXO Pure RAW 2 (PR2) to process these Z9 RAW files into linear DNG and have found this gets me all the benefits I want from DXO's colour and optics processes. I own and use LRC,PS, Capture One (for tethered shooting and processing Phase One images), and DXO PL6 and also Phocus (for processing my Hasselblad 3FR files).
